TAS Swimming was represented at the State Short Course Championships by 2 swimmers, Leah Snelling and Albert An. It was our new coach, Alberto Lantieri’s, first trip away with the club.
Our swimmers responded to the new coach and to the challenge of State level competition by achieving many PB’s and medals.
Leah swam a huge program of 7 events over the 3 days, taking out 2 medals in her favourite events of 100m and 200m freestyle. She also swam 5 personal bests.
Albert also had a full program of 8 events. This resulted in 7 medals and 7 personal bests.
The club is very proud of its 2 swimmers and its new coach to perform so well in the highest level of competition. Congratulations.
